Resilience
This is a topic Jared and Tom wrote about in their 2020 book, The Leadership Check-Up. They defined it this way: “Resilience is your ability to continue to deliver high performance over time, especially in the face of difficulty, challenge or set-backs. We suggest thinking of resilience this way: R = H x E x S.”
In this equation, R stands for Resilience, H for Health (physical, emotional and mental), E for Exertion and S for Support Systems. Throughout this week, you’ll receive prompts to take actions in each of these domains, while learning a little more about each of them.
